My Poetry
.

If I were God.

If I were God, the streets would run red

A river of blood, of those who blood shed.

Piles of bodies that bloat, rot and fester

Murderers, rapists and child molesters.

Thieves, cheaters, frauds and liars

Burned from the earth by just cleansing fires.

The good and the kind, the mild and meek

Would no longer have worry of safety to seek.

The greedy, the bigots, malicious and rude

Strewn on the ground, as scavenger food.

I’d demand from all, to do harm to no one

To care for themselves to laugh and have fun.

Make the most of themselves, speak no hurtful word.

Harm no other man, animal or bird.

For the world as it is twas not meant to be.

It was meant to be wondrous wild and free.

I think I’d not sit on my throne high above

And watch as men evil destroy what I love.

I’d walk amongst man, a sword in my hand.

Expounding my values, men would no where I stand.

There’d be no need for heated debate

Is it right, is it wrong, are we early or late?

I’d suffer no second guessing or making excuses

For habits and weakness, addictions, abuses.

The bar I’d set high, help to all I would lend

To those who strive to succeed rich blessings I’d send.

So if you’re a slacker, a loser a lout

Best be prepared, for I’m coming about.

I’ll whip on your ass, knock your dick in the dirt.

If you mess with my people, even one of them hurt.

I’d be a loving God, but not to all

They tried that before and it led to man’s fall.

I know what you’re thinking “I’m glad Thunder’s not God!”

But I’m working on it!
